I’m so glad you’re here.
A Dreamer & a Do-er.
Hey, I’m Kenz, a Japan-based wedding, elopement + lifestyle photographer —
I’m a girl from Ohio, a wife to my high school sweetheart, and a mom to a little girl who means everything to me.
I’m 27 years old and grew up in Central Ohio. After I graduated high school, I moved to Logan, Utah to pursue a degree in Animal & Dairy Science. Long story short, I never finished college. I moved to West Tennessee in 2019 for my husband’s job and started this beautiful business of mine in the fall of 2022 and haven’t looked back since.
I can’t imagine doing anything else. When I’m photographing my clients, it doesn’t feel like work. Even when I’m on my feet for 8+ hour wedding days, running around trying to get all the shots and my back gets a little sore, I still feel like the luckiest human. I never take this job (I can’t believe I get to call it that) for granted.

Do you wanna know the backstory?
There is no greater feeling than the sense of togetherness.
Photography has been something that has always greatly influenced my life and it all stemmed from my late grandpa, Dane Myers. Every time we took a trip from Ohio to my grandparent’s home in Northwest Arkansas, the thing we always did together as a family was gather in their living room, plug in the projector, and look through look all the photo slides from my grandpa’s life. My personal favorite was getting to look at photos through the viewfinder— even from a young age I loved it — it didn’t matter who was in the photos. He was so proud to show off those photos and he lit up when he talked about the people in the photos and who they were.
I want everyone to have a sense of togetherness. When I take photos of couples, families, etc, you’re able to get that because you get to just BE together for a little. When I take photos with my own family, I feel whole, complete; I feel together. So, whether that be during the process of having photos taken or looking at them from your online gallery or after they’re printed with your family, you achieve that sense of togetherness — in mind and body.
When I photograph your story, I want those photos to be something that you’re proud to show to your children and grandchildren, one day, too.
Photos bring me comfort.
I am a believer in love. A big one actually. I met my husband when I was 13 years old and we have been together since I was 14. There were so many things that should’ve kept us apart but we didn’t let that stop us. When we did get to be together, we took a lot of photos. My Sony Cybershot went everywhere with me. After we’d take pictures, I’d edit them and had them printed out. I would hang them up in my room, put them in my school binders, basically wherever you could have pictures is where I’d have them.
I never knew when I was going to see him next and those photos are what I held so tightly onto until I did get to see him. Having photos and being able to look at them brought me a lot of comfort.
I always had a camera with me. I brought it to school, after school cross country and track practice, cross country meets, you name it. I wanted to document everything with the people I loved.
It wasn’t until after becoming a mom, in 2022, that I felt like I could actually make a career out of this. My daughter is truly the reason that pushed me to pursue this dream of mine. She is the driving factor. I didn’t want to miss a moment of her growing up because time just seems to fly when you’re a parent but I also knew that I needed a sense of purpose beyond just being a wife and mom.
All that to say, photos are very near and dear to me. They are priceless. I want you to have that, too. I want to document you just the way you are and all the happy, messy, in-between moments.
When I find something I love, I put my all + then some into it! I am always looking for ways to improve myself & how I can give my clients the best experience possible. I’m here for you & I want to know you and your story. I want you to be able to have these moments captured that you can have forever.
